Distributive Acoustic Sensing Units
BMP offers real time downhole distributive acoustic monitoring.
The DAS system detects minute changes to the path of light as it passes through the fiber, caused by sound waves hitting and altering the structure of the optical fiber, anywhere along its length. The sound waves could be the result of direct mechanical noise or any acoustic disturbance in the vicinity of the fiber.
With DAS real time monitoring and evaluation of live well conditions is possible.
