Downhole In-Line Filtration
BMP Enterprises In-Line Filtration systems provide security and a measure of confidence that the chemical injection system will function without damaging the downhole components due to contamination. Additionally BMP filter systems provide a bypass circuit insuring the downhole components will continue to function even when blocked by contamination.
The FM series filter mandrel with by-pass manufactured by Texas Products TM is used in chemical injection systems, control line set packer completions or any other installations using a capillary tube extending from the surface. FM filter mandrels are a solid block design with a replaceable filter cartridge. These designs feature a fluid by-pass that actuates to by-pass the filter should the filter cartridge plug.
FM series filter mandrels are available in sizes from 2- 3/8 to 5- 1/2 in. tubing and accepts most premium thread choices. The FM-2 filter mandrels are designed to be installed in casing sizes of 7 in. and larger.
The mandrel bodies are manufactured from materials ranging from low alloy steel to high nickel alloys. The bypass components are constructed from 300 series stainless steels or premium alloys. All materials choices comply with National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) specification MR0175 for stress cracking resistant metallic materials.
